The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the APPLICATION for authorisation to EXPLOIT the mineral resources of the Mustu III sandy QUARRY submitted by OÜ SOKKEL HOLDING (registry code: 12245586) (address: Lonni, Purku village, Municipality of Rapla, County Rapla, 78401) has been accepted.

Authorisation is sought for cadastral parcels of sand (cadastral identification 51802:003:0456), Mediterranean barring (cadastral identification 51802:003:0332), Nõmme (cadastral identification 51802:003:0256), Cadastral shield (cadastral identification 51802:003:0285) owned by private individuals in the village of Saue Harju.

The area of the applicant mountain allocation is 13.50 ha and that of the service area of the mountain allocation is 13.98 ha. The active consumption of aggregate sand is 753 thousand m ³, of which the extracted stock is 697 thousand m ³. An average annual extraction rate of 50 thousand m ³ is requested. Mineral resources are used as aggregates. The period of validity of the requesting authorisation shall be 15 years.

The application is available digitally in the Register of documents of the Environment Agency http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation for the extraction of mineral resources, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The preparation of the draft mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the official publication Ametlikud Teadaanded.
