Notice of initiation of a prospecting permit procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to prospect for a breeding area VIII of bears submitted by YIT Infra Eesti as (registry code: 10114029) (address betooni tn 28, Tallinn, Harju County, 11415) has been accepted.

The geological survey is requested from the State-owned cadastral unit Paunküla district 129 (cadastral title 33801:001:0661) in the municipality of Kos, Harju, whose management of public property is the Ministry of the Environment and an authorised authority is the State Forest Management Centre. The area covered by the requested survey room is 15.20 ha. This is a consumables survey, which plans to build up up up to 40 exploration voids and 40 wells. The exploration depth is up to 25 m. the ore under consideration is the building gravel, the building sand and the filling sand. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 3 years. The name of the enquiry room shall be the enclosure VIII for the fur. The survey is carried out by Mäebüroo Nord OÜ (registry code 11560452, address Pärnu mnt 232, Tallinn, Harju County, 11314).

The Environment Agency verified that the application for authorisation of the geological survey complies with the requirements laid down in the Mineral Act. That application complied with the form of order sought.

The application for authorisation to prospect and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest office of the Environment Agency (tel 674 4804, e-mail põhja@keskkonnaamet.ee).
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation for a prospecting operation, any person shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The draft prospecting permit shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
