Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the request for extension of the mining permit submitted by AS Tariston (registry code: 10887843) (address Harju County, Tallinn, Central City district, Pärnu mnt 158/1, 11317) was granted.

The extension of the authorisation to exploit the mineral of a gravel quarry II is requested in the village of Mustla-Nõmme, Pärva, in the village of Paide, in the cadastral block 2 (cadastral mark 56501:001:0363) of the cadastre of the bears (registry card No 0501). The cadastral parcel is owned by the Republic of Estonia, the manager is the Ministry of the Environment and the authorised authority is the Maa-amet.

The mountain allocation for the existing stock II (permit No L.MK/300802) is 14,21 ha and the service area for the mountain allocation is 15,22 ha. The authorisation for the extraction of mineral resources expires on 24.06.2019 and is to be extended until 19.03.2029.
As of 31.03.2018, the quarrying of fallback blocks related to the Corp. II gravel quarry is as follows:
Block 5 — fill sand, active consumable reserve 0 h m3,
Block 6 — Building gravel, active consumables 254,304 thousand m3.

The application is made available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/

until a decision is taken to amend or refuse to modify the mining permit, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address at the info@keskkonnaamet.ee or postal address Tallinna mnt 14, 79513, Rapla.

The draft decision amending the mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
