Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that THE request FOR extension of Mineral MINING permit No L.MK/318027 has been accepted at the request of VALICECAR OÜ (registry code: 11102086) (address Pärnu County, West Bank, Pikavere village, TOTO, 88430).

The extension of the mining permit is requested for the cadastral unit Põllu (CADASTRAL mark 19501:002:0599) owned by VALICECAR OÜ in the village of Kinks, Pärnu County.
The area applied for is situated in the Kinks deposit (registry card No 0847).

The mountain allocation is called the Kinks gravel quarry, with an area of 1,86 ha and an area of 2,25 ha for the mountain allocation.

As of 30.06.2018, the active consumption of the building gravel of the mountain allocation is 28.2 thousand m ³ and the extracted stock is 26.2 thousand m ³ and the active consumption of the aggregate sand is 1.7 thousand m ³ and the extracted stock is 0.7 thousand m ³. The average annual rate of mineral extraction is 10 thousand m ³. The fields of use of the mineral resource include general construction and road construction. An extension of the permit shall be requested for a period of 10 years.

The request for extension of the mining permit and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency (Tallinn 22, 93819 Kuressaare, e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee, telephone 680 7438).
The application is available digitally in the document management system of the Environment Agency, http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to renew or refuse to renew the mining permit, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address at info@keskkonnaamet.ee or postal address Tallinn 22, 93819 Kuressaare.

The preparation of the draft extension of the mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
