Notification of a temporary closure period for fishing activities

The Ministry of the Environment publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 11(3) of the Law on fishing (KPS).
The Ministry of the Environment hereby notifies that, in accordance with Decree No 1-2/18/609 of the Minister for the Environment of 03.08.2018, it has been decided to prohibit fishing activities in Peipsi Lake with traps with a mesh size of less than 86 mm in the case of the Chicory and less than 76 mm in the case of the Box, including the bag, from 4 August to 13 August 2018.
It shall take effect on the day following that of its publication and may also be consulted on the Ministry of the Environment's website on https://www.envir.ee/et/eesmargid activities/fishing/legislation.
