Notice of initiation of a prospecting permit procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).
The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to prospect for mineral resources submitted by AS Tariston (registry code: 10887843) (address Pärnu mnt 158/1, Tallinn, Harju County, 11317) (also referred to as the exploration authorisation) has been accepted.
The exploration licence is requested in the village of Haljala in Lääne-Viru County. The catchment area of the trial room includes the land owned by the Republic of Estonia in the Altpere quarry (cadastral mark 88703:002:2030) and partly in the Kunda district 3 (cadastral mark 88703:002:0104). The Staatssecretaris of the estate of the altpere is the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, the AECE the Maanteeamet, and the Staatssecretaris of the estate of the Kunda district 3 is the Ministry of the Environment, the AECE the Centre for the Riigimetsa Majandamise Keskus. The requested survey room and its catchment area are 19.97 ha. This is a consumable stock survey, which plans to build up up up to 25 wells and exploration voids. The exploration depth is up to 15 m. the surveyed minerals are the construction and filling sand and the construction and filling crucible, which may be used in road and earth construction. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 2 years. The test room is called the Altpere III test room.

The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at
http://dhs ADR kea.envir.ee/.
Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation for a prospecting operation, any person shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address in info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to a postal address at garage 2, 48306 Jõgeva.
The draft prospecting permit shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
