The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to prospect for mineral resources submitted by the OÜ (registry code: 14212964) (address Kuusiku tee 18-13, Loo alevik, Jõelähtme Municipality, Harju County, 74201) (also referred to as the exploration authorisation) has been accepted.

The exploration licence is requested in the municipality of Viru-Nigula in Lääne-Viru, in the village of Võrkla, on the State-owned site of Turniet (cadastral mark 90202:003:0168). This is a consumables survey, which plans to build up up up to 20 wells and up to 20 exploration cavities. The exploration depth is up to 20 m. the resources under examination are sand and gravel, which could be used for construction and road maintenance. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 2 years. The test room is called the Võrkla room.

The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at
http://dhs ADR kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation for a prospecting operation, any person shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address in info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to a postal address at garage 2, 48306 Jõgeva.

The draft prospecting permit shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
