The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the request submitted by Osaühing KEKKILÄ EESTI (registry code: 10980212) (address Pärnu County, City of Pärnu, City of Pärnu, Papiniidu tn 5-Büroomaja 1, 80010) for amendment and extension of Mineral Mining permit No HARM-070 has been accepted.

OSAÜHING KEKKILÄ EESTI is seeking an amendment and extension of mining permit HARMON-070 for the preserved peat production area OF the Soones deposit by 30 years.

The peat production area of the grooves is located in the State-owned cadastral parcel of Saue in Harju County (cadastral identification 51801:002:0260).

The area covered by the application for a peat production area is 98,93 ha and the area covered by the provision for mountain areas is 130,78 ha. As of 30.09.2018, the active consumption of low-sloping peat within the purse allocation is 45,778 thousand m3, of which 45,778 thousand m3 is mined and the active consumption of well-decomposed peat is 387,64 thousand m3, with 352 thousand m3 mined. The average annual mineral extraction rate is 10 thousand m3.

The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. The preparation of the draft mining permit decision will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
