Notification of a temporary closure period for fishing activities

The Ministry of the Environment publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 11(3) of the Law on fishing (KPS).
The Ministry of the Environment hereby notifies that, pursuant to Decree No 851 of the Minister of the Environment of 14.11.2018, it has been decided to prohibit fishing for salmon and sea trout with spinach and longlines from 16 November to 25 November 2018 on the following stretches of river:
1.1 River backwards from Arkna bridge to mouth;
1.2 on the Valgeriver, from the Tallinn-Narva motorway to the mouth.
The decree will take effect on the day following that of its publication and can also be consulted on the Ministry of the Environment's website https://www.envir.ee/et/eesmargid activities/fishing.
