Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that THE APPLICATION for the addition and extension of Mineral MINING permits Nos HARM-111 and HARM-123 submitted by the public LIMITED company stone (registry code: 10147365) (address Harju County, Rae Municipality, Lagedi Province, betooni tn 19-16, 75303) has been dealt with (registered under document management system 09.11.2018 of the Environment Agency under number 12-2/18/18275).

THE AKTSIASELTS KIVILUKS is applying for THE merging and extension by 15 years of mining permits HARM-111 and harm-123 for the Mediterranean deposit Vahelaane II and IV GRAVEL quarries.

The gravel quarries of Area II and Area IV are located in the privately owned cadastral parcels Kiviraider (cadastral identification 14002:003:0142) and the Baltic gaming parcel (cadastral identification 14002:003:0397) in the Harju County of Anija. The area of the mountain allocation applied for is 11.50 ha and that of the service area of the mountain allocation is 11.97 ha. As of 28.10.2018, within the limit of the mining allocation applied for, the active consumption of the building gravel is 389 thousand m3, of which 298 thousand m3 are mined, the active consumption of the building sand is 9 thousand m3, of which 9 thousand m3 are mined and the active consumption of the filling sand is 36 thousand m3, of which 35 thousand m3 are mined. The average annual rate of extraction of the mineral resources applied for is 25 h m3.

The application for authorisation to exploit mineral resources and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency (tel 674 4804, e-mail info@keskkonnaamet.ee).
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The preparation of the draft mining permit decision will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
