The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the request for extension of the validity of permit No HARM-43 for the extraction of mineral reserves from the site of peat production at Jiffy products Estonia (registry code: 10053049) (address Pärnu County, Pärnu City, Pärnu City, Papiniidu tn 5a/1, 80042) has been accepted. Mining authorisation HARMON-43 is valid until 28.12.2019. The mining permit is to be extended for a period of 30 years.

The site for tread security in Harju County is located in the village of Lähtse in the village of Kiili, Harju County, which is managed by the Ministry of the Environment and the Autorità Land, Sausti peat deposit (registry card No 0240), in the cadastral parcel the site for tread peat production (cadastral mark No 30401:001:0620).

The area covered by the mountain allocation in the peat production area is 72.40 ha and the area covered by the mountain allocation is 85.98 ha. As of 30.09.2018, the amount of ice cream related to the Mountain allocation was as follows: 1 block — active consumption of scarce peat: 304 ht, 2 hits — active consumption of well-degraded peat: 106,26 ht. the area of use of the resource is horticulture and energy.

The application for authorisation to exploit mineral resources and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency.
The application shall be digitally accessible in the http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/ system of the Environment Agency

until such time as an authorisation decision is taken, everyone shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The draft decision amending the mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
