Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for mining authorisation submitted by AS TREV-2 Group (registry code: 10047362) (address Harju County, Tallinn, Nõmme district, Pärnu mnt 463, 10916) was granted.

Authorisation to exploit the mineral resources of a gravel quarry of hills II is sought in the village of SEL in Rapla, the municipality of Rapla, on the private cadastral parcels of the hills (registry card No 0874) (cadastral code: 66903:002:0089) and the field (cadastral code: 66801:001:0245).

The purse seedlings applied for are situated in the erection and adjacent area of a mountain deposit Künka with a partially valid mining permit (permit No Rapm-071, authorisation holder AS TREV-2 Group, valid until 18.08.2035).

The area covered by the mountain allocation for the mountain pasture of Künka II is 6.33 ha and the area covered by the mountain allocation is 6.33 ha. The extracted mineral is, according to the application, a building gravel (65 thousand m3) and a building sand (69 thousand m3) and the intended use of the mineral is construction and road construction. The average annual extraction rate is, according to the application, 9 thousand m3. Authorisation to exploit mineral resources is sought for a period of 15 years.

until a decision is taken on the granting or refusal of mining authorisation, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the info@keskkonnaamet.ee e-mail address or to the postal address Tallinna mnt 14, PK 5, 79513, Rapla.

The preparation of the draft mining permit decision will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the official publication Ametlikud Teadaanded.
