The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the request submitted by Geoforce OÜ (registry code: 11224820) (address: Lembitu tn 4, Türi City, Municipality of Türi, County of Järva 72211) to amend the mining permit for the sandy quarry of Lakenõmme has been accepted.
The sand-slurry quarry is located in the western region of the municipality of West Nigula, in the state-owned cadastral block 77601:003:0295 (for 100% mining land) in the sandy field of the Lake heather. The mountain allocation has an area of 9.11 ha and the service area of the mountain allocation is 10.11 ha. As of 31.03.2019, the balance sheet total of active consumable stock of building sand in spare block 1, associated with the existing open slurry quarry, is 393,871 tug m3. The area of use of the mineral resource is general construction and road construction.

The holder of the authorisation shall apply for an extension of the period of validity of the authorisation by 15 years (until 21.04.2035).

The decision to initiate the procedure for amending the mining permit and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency.
The application is available digitally in the document management system of the Environment Agency, http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until the decision to modify the mining permit is taken, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address at the info@keskkonnaamet.ee address or postal address Tallinn 22, Kuressaare, the municipality of Saaremaa, the island region 93819.

The draft decision amending the mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
