The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the request submitted by MV turbvas (registered under registry code: 10930579) (address Tallinna tn 61, city of Kuressaare, municipality of Saaremaa, district of Saaremaa 93818) for amendment OF the mining permit FOR the mineral product SAM-018 has been accepted.
The peat production area of piila is located in Saaremaa, County Saaremaa, on the territory of the village Haeska, in the southern part of the Piila peat deposit (registry card No 0121). The mountain allocation and its catchment area are located on Piilasoo land owned by the Republic of Estonia (cadastral mark 9201:001:0217, intended use 100% t urbanisation land).

According to the request, propose an extension of the authorisation by 30 years, an increase in the surface area of the mountain allocation and a decrease in the surface area of the service area of the mountain allocation, an adjustment of the quantity of mineral resources within the mountain allocation, an increase in the maximum annual extraction rate. The extracted area is restored to renewable soda ash.

The decision to initiate the procedure for amending the mining permit and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency.
The application is available digitally in the document management system of the Environment Agency, http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until the decision to modify the mining permit is taken, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address at the info@keskkonnaamet.ee address or postal address Tallinn 22, Kuressaare, the municipality of Saaremaa, the island region 93819.

The draft decision amending the mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
