Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the request submitted by OÜ Ungru Paekivi (registry code: 12305130) (address Kivikoja, village small-Ahli, City of Haapsalu, Western Region 90446) for extension of the authorisation to exploit the mineral resources of Sepaküla's quarry has been accepted.

The pig ham's quarry is situated in the town of Haapsalu, western region, in the cadastral block 67401:002:0703 owned by OÜ Herion. The pig carp quarry is located on the Ungru-Sepaküla limestone deposit (registry card No 0079). The catchment area of the mountain and mountain areas of the pig-hay quarry is 2.74 ha. Building limestone is mined on the basis of a mining permit.

An extension of 20 years of authorisation KMIN-024 for the extraction of mineral resources from Sepaküla's quarry is requested.

The application for authorisation to exploit mineral resources and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency.
The application is digitally accessible in the Environment Agency's document management system http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/

until the decision to extend the mining permit is taken, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address at the info@keskkonnaamet.ee address or postal address Tallinn 22, Kuressaare, the municipality of Saaremaa, the island region 93819.

The draft decision extending the mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
