Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for modification of the mining permit for the Tehu gravel quarry submitted by OÜ KPT-Projekt (registry code: 11636853) (address: Island County, Saaremaa Municipality, Lümanda village, Keskusehone, 93301) has been accepted.

The gravel quarry of the transaction is located in the village of a Sõmera in Saaremaa, in Saaremaa, in the state-owned land, in the fibrous district of 56 (Cadastral Identifier 37301:003:0087), the black grouse (Cadastral Identifier 43301:001:0378) and the Tehu-Kruit quarry (Cadastral Identifier 43301:001:0484). The catchment area for mountain and mountain allocations is 13,16 ha. Under the authorisation for the extraction of mineral resources, a building gravel is mined.

In connection with the re-evaluation of the stock on the mountain allocation of the Tehu gravel quarry, an amendment of the permit is requested.

The purpose of the request for modification of the authorisation to exploit the mineral resources of the operation is to name the Tehu deposit as a sand quarry, to change the mineral use and active commercial stock, to add to the authorisation the quantity of cover and soil, to add, in addition to the existing use, the construction and construction of roads, to change the average annual extraction rate and to change the authorisation to Valicecar OÜ.

The request for amendment of the mining permit and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency.
The application shall be digitally accessible in the Environment Agency's document management system http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/

until the decision to modify the mining permit is taken, everyone shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address at the info@keskkonnaamet.ee address or postal address Tallinn 22, Kuressaare, the municipality of Saaremaa, the island region 93819.

The draftsman of the draft decision amending the mining permit shall be further informed by the authorising authority in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
