Notice of competition for a Judge

The Ministry of Justice publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 53(3) of the judicial Act (KS).

The Minister for Justice is hereby invited to take four posts as Judge of the Harju Maakohus, one post as Judge of the Pärnu Maakohus and one post as Judge of the Tartu Maakohus.

The application to take part in the judge's competition, the applicant's personal data form (available on the website of the Riigikohus at www.riigikohus.ee), a copy of the proof of Estonian nationality, a certificate of education and a copy of the academic certificate (scoring sheet) must be submitted to the President of the Riigikohus Teadaanded one month of the publication of the competition notice in the Official Journal of the European Union (§ 47 and 53 (3) of the Indicative Gazette).
The application must state the court or tribunals for which the post or posts of judge are to be filled.

Documents for participation in a judicial competition must be presented under the heading “Judge's competition” at the address of the Riigikohus Veski 32, 50409 Tartu or electronically at the address info@riigikohus.ee. The deadline for submission of documents is 08.11.2019.
The remuneration of a judge at first instance shall be EUR 4009,40 per month.
