Notice of initiation of the environmental permit procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the request for extension of the mining permit for the Vaidasoo sand quarry submitted by as Tariston (registry code: 10887843) (address Toompuiestee 35, North Tallinn, Tallinn, 10133 Harju County) has been accepted.

The mountain allocation of the tidal pasture of the mistasoo is located in the municipality of Rae, Harju, on private land, in Siimu (cadastral identification: 65303:003:0691), Kaspari (cadastral identification: 65303:003:0696), Argo (cadastral identification: 65303:003:0694), Nisumäe (cadastral identification: 65303:003:003:003:0002), Nisumitä80-003:303:006.

The mountain area of the mistasoo quarry is 18.84 ha and that of the mountain quarry is 24.25 ha. The average annual mineral extraction rate is 120 thousand m3. The exploitation of mineral resources consists of road, environmental and general construction works. Building sand for use in road drainage layers. Filling sand for use in the construction of road embankments and in the filling of earth. Building gravel for use in the construction of embankments, filling and drainage works and for the production of crushing gravel, including crushing.

The request is for an extension for 8 years of mining authorisation No HARM-107 (L.MK/319019) for the deposit of the Vaidasoo sandy pasture in Vaidasoo.

The request for amendment of the environmental permit and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest office of the Environment Agency.
The application shall be digitally accessible in the http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/ system of the Environment Agency until

the decision to grant or refuse an environmental permit is taken, everyone shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, Tallinn, 11216 Harju County.

The draft decision amending the environmental permit shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
