The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).
The Environment Agency States that the application for an environmental permit for the extraction of mineral resources submitted by Osaühing Eesti Klustik (registry code: 10126848) (address: Jõgeva County, Põltsamaa Municipality, Rõstla village, Rõstla paekivikarjäär, 48022) was accepted.
The application for authorisation to exploit a gravel quarry is made for private cadastral parcels Rätsepa (cadastral mark 31701:002:0052) and Võhma (cadastral mark 31701:002:0373) in the village urge in the municipality of Kohila in the district of Rapla (register number 975).
The size of the mountain allocation of a gravel quarry on the markets applied for is 7.05 ha and that of the service area of the mountain allocation is 9.05 ha. The minerals extracted are, according to the application, the building gravel (active consumable stock 104 tug m3 and extractable stock 100 tuh m3) and the building sand (active consumable stock 143 tug m3 and extractable reserves 125 tuh m3) and the planned area of use of the minerals is general and road construction. The average annual extraction rate is, according to the application, 15 thousand m3. The mining permit is requested for a period of 15 years.
The environmental permit application and other relevant documents can be consulted at the Office of the Environment Agency Rapla (Tallinna mnt 14, PK 5, 79513, Rapla; info@keskkonnaamet.ee; 56885603).
The application shall be digitally accessible in the public Register of documents of the Environment Agency https://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/
until the decision to grant or refuse an environmental permit is taken, everyone shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the info@keskkonnaamet.ee e-mail address or to the postal address Tallinna mnt 14, PK 5, 79513, Rapla.
The preparation of the draft environmental permit shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the official publication Ametlikud Teadaanded.
