The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency reports that the Port Authority of Hiiumaa (registry code: 90014553) (address central exk 5a, the municipality of Kärdla, the municipality of Hiiumaa, the county of Hiiumaa) applies for an environmental permit for special water use (“the licence”), valid from 01.04.2020 to 31.03.2022 in the municipality of Hiiumaa, in the municipality of Hiiu, in a nearby village with a port site (cadastritade 17501:003:0086; Part 444533 in a neighbouring marine area). The purpose of the application is to carry out specific water-use works in connection with the reconstruction and expansion of the Sõru recreational port - dredging works of 6500 m ³ and the installation of solid substances of 436 m ³. A draft decision on the granting of a water permit and a draft water permit as well as a draft preliminary assessment of the need for an environmental impact assessment of the activities applied for have been finalised.

The drafts are available digitally in the environmental decision information system (https://kotkas.envir.ee/) by entering the registration number M-107656 in the search.

Proposals and objections to the draft (s) may be submitted to the Environment Agency orally or in writing to an e-mail address at info@keskkonnaamet.ee or postal address Alexander 14, 51044 Tartu, within two weeks of the publication of the notice in the Official Journal Ametlikud Teadaanded.
The Environment Agency shall propose to hear the case without holding a public hearing.
