Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under Section 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).
Keskkonnaamet declares that Metropol Group OÜ (registry code: 12029865) (address Järva maakond, Paide linn, Paide linn, Pärnu tn 5-33, 72712) the application for amendment of the environmental permit for the extraction of mineral resources submitted by the applicant was granted.
The request for amendment of the mining permit for a more mature quarry (L.MK.JÄ-51672) is made in Järva County, Järva County, Jalgsema Village, Jalgsema deposit (registry card No 0502), cadastral unit Jalgsema quarry (cadastral mark 25702:001:0040). The cadastral parcel is owned by the Republic of Estonia, the manager is the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications and the authorised authority is the Road Administration.
The mountain allocation for an existing fairer quarry is 9.48 ha and the service area for an mountain allocation is 10.23 ha. According to the authorisation, the mineral extracted from mining reserves is a building gravel (an active consumption reserve of 23 thousand m3 and an excavated stock of 23 thousand m3 as of 31.12.2014) and its use is construction and road construction. The average annual extraction rate in the mining permit is 3 hrs m3. The mining permit is valid until 01.04.2021 and its extension is requested for a period of 10 years.

Until the amendment or refusal of an environmental permit decision is made, any person has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the On the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to a postal address Tallinna mnt 14, PK 5, 79513, Rapla.
The draft of Decision amending the environmental permit will be announced by the Environmental Agency in the Official Announcements.
