Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under paragraph 30(2) of the Rural Law (MaaPS).
 
Keskkonnaamet announces, that Osaühing Vinni Varahaldus (registry code: 11235031) (address Tööstuspargi tn 6, Vinni alevik, Vinni vald, Lääne-Viru maakond 46601)an application for a geological survey permit in the Orapere Research Centre has been accepted.

The prospecting authorisation is requested in the municipality of Kadrina in Lääne-Viru, district of Kadrina, for the private cadastral parcel Orapere (cadastral identification: 71601:002:0045), under the name of the Orapere Research Area. The area covered by the requested survey room is 11.25 ha. There is no overlap with the mineral reserves on the invoice in the service area of the research room requested. The cockpit harbour (registry card No 0324) is approximately 20,3 m from the eastern edge of the area served by the requested exploration room and the cockpit harbour (registry card No 0323) is approximately 304 m from the southern edge of the area served by the requested exploration room.

The purpose of prospecting shall be to establish the conditions, quality and quantity of natural deposits, including mineral deposits. According to the explanatory memorandum to the application, the applicant, the Osaühing Vinni Varahaldus, would like to apply for mining usufruct rights if, as a result of a geological study, an active mineral consumption is confirmed in the Vinni. The study envisages the establishment of up to 15 wells and up to 15 exploration voids of an exploration depth of up to 20 m. the resources to be studied are sand and gravel. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 3 years. The survey is carried out by OÜ J.Viru Markšeideribüroo (registry code: 11644539; address: Tartu mnt 84A - 50 10112 Tallinn).
