Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under paragraph 30(2) of the Rural Law (MaaPS).
 
Keskkonnaamet announces, that Rapla Turvas OÜ (registry code: 14182536) (address Rapla maakond, Rapla vald, Rapla linn, Tallinna mnt 22, 79512)the application for authorisation of the geological survey submitted by the applicant was accepted.

Authorisation for the prospection of a rabivere prospecting room (“the authorisation”) is sought for the cadastral parcels Vardi District 84 (cadastral mark 31701:001:0001), Vardi District 121 (cadastral mark 31701:001:0484) and Rabivere peat production area (cadastral mark 31701:006:0850) in the municipality of Kohila, County of Rapla. The cadastral parcels are owned by the Republic of Estonia, the manager is the Ministry of the Environment and the authorised authority is the Centre for the Management of State Forests (Vardi Forest 84 and Vardi Forest 121) and the Maa-amet Authority (Rabivere peat production area).

The area covered by the requested survey room is 41.54 ha. This is a consumption inventory study which plans to set up up up to 30 sounding points. The exploration depth is, according to the request, up to 6 m. the purpose of the exploration is to assess the geological construction of the exploration room, mountain conditions and the quality of peat with an accuracy that makes it possible to record the peat stock in the list of deposits in the environmental registry as an active commercial resource. The mineral resources under consideration are building limestone. The intended uses of the mineral resource are horticultural and heating peat. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 2 years. The study is carried out by OÜ Inseneribüroo STEIGER.
