Notice of public display of and public consultation of an environmental impact assessment programme

Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under Section 16(2)(1) of the environmental impact assessment and Management system Act (KeHJS).

Environmental Agency announces the publication of the environmental impact assessment (EIA) programme of the Establishment of an archipelago sandy quarry.

The decision-maker initiated KMH by letter No 12-2/19/415-8 of 12.11.2019.
The requested mountain allocation for the Aardla sandpasture is located in the village of Aardla, County Kastre, Tartu, on the cadastral parcels link (cadastral identification 18501:001:0562, registration number 448004) and Treiali (18501:001:0461, 117804). The deposit of the archipelago's sandy quarry with an area of 14.31 ha includes the sandy deposit of the archipelago (registry card No 964, basic stock filling sand). The quantity of active consumption of the aggregate sand in the mining allocation is 588 thousand m ³ and the quantity of reserves extracted is 527 thousand m ³. The exploitation of mineral resources is the construction and construction of roads. The material is intended to be used in the construction of roads in the area for the construction of embankments and for the backfilling of buildings and roads in general construction works. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 15 years.

The EIA programme is available in advance at  in public display 18.06.2020-06.07.2020 by electronic means on the website of the Environment Agency: https://www.keskkonnaamet.ee/ (publication of newsletters, public publication of press/environmental impact assessments) and during working hours at the Office of the Environment Agency in Tartu.

Proposals, objections and questions about the EIA programme can be submitted at Proposals, objections and questions relating to an EIA programme may be submitted in writing up to 06.07.2020 during the hours of the decision-makers' contacts referred to above.

The public consultation of the EIA programme takes place at 13.07.2020 at 17.00 in the Palais Priiuse (Kurepalu village, Castre Municipality, Tartu County)..
