Notice of public display of and public consultation of an environmental impact assessment programme

Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under Section 16(2)(1) of the environmental impact assessment and Management system Act (KeHJS).

Environmental Agency announces the publication of the environmental impact assessment (EIA) programme of the Lund Dam.

By letter No 14-6/17/2672-10, the Environment Agency opened an application for a special water use permit KMH 03.08.2017, on the ground that the proposed site is located in the Natura 2000 network area and that the activities could have a negative impact on the protected species and habitats of Jägala's natural and conservation area.
The objective of the proposed action is to continue the expanding of the barrel of the river Jõelähtme on the 33 sites of Jägala-joa tea (cadastritrile Identifier 24504:008:1470) in the municipality of Jõelähtme in Harju, County, with a view to recreation. The target level of expansion is about 2,5 m from the natural level under standard conditions.
