Rapla Vallavalitsus publishes this announcement under Section 128(7) of the planning Act (plans).

Rapla Vallavalitsus announces that the development of a zoning plan " by Decision No 32 of the Regional Council of Rapla Vallavolikogu of 28 May 2020 was " initiated in the village of Valtu with a view to the drawing up of a zoning plan amending the general planning of an Aroonia. The purpose of the zoning plan is to lay down the conditions for the development of business related to wood processing: the construction of commercial, production and warehouse buildings and related facilities. The planning area of approximately 6.5 ha includes the Aroonia area (cadastral code 66904:002:0149) and, in part, adjacent areas. The planning area is bounded by the low-speed road in the Rapla-Kaerepere, the Mediterranean road, the old railway, the Sirel, the Kaasiku and the Vesimän rural areas.

The need to draw up a zoning plan is apparent from the master plan and the planning law of the Municipality of Rapla. It is necessary to draw up an up-to-date geodetic master plan of the networks. By the same decision, the strategic environmental assessment was not initiated on the ground that, according to the findings of the preliminary assessment, significant effects on the environment were unlikely to occur.
