Notice of public display of and public consultation of an environmental impact assessment report

Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under sections 21 and 16(2)(1) of the environmental impact assessment and Management system Act (KeHJS).

Environmental Agency announces the publication of the environmental impact assessment (EIA) report for the Application for authorisation of the extension of the pathway's sandy quarry to exploit mineral resources.

The decision-maker initiated the EIA in question by letter No 12-2/19/135-8 of 22.03.2019.
The Potsepa sand quarry applied for is located in the town of Pärnu in Pärnu, County. The area applied for is located on State-owned fields called the Potsepa sandground deposit (features: 15905:001:0033, 15905:001:0034, 5905:001:0127, 15905:004:0215, 15905:004:0216) and the Audru District 52 (identifier: 62401:001:0390) and the Kiviveski (Kaalukoja: 15905:001:0169 and 001:0390). The mountain allocation applied for is 102.52 ha and its catchment area is 141.05 ha. It is an existing mountain allocation which is to be extended. An average annual extraction rate of 275 thousand m ³ is requested. The planned area of use of the mineral resource is the construction of roads and general roads. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 15 years.
