Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under Section 16(2)(1) of the environmental impact assessment and Management system Act (KeHJS).

Environmental Agency announces the publication of the environmental impact assessment (EIA) programme of the The creation and operation of the Nurme IV cod production area.

The EEA initiated the EIA in question by letter No 12-2/19/287-13 of 17.07.2019.
Mining permits are requested in Pärnu County, Tur, Nurme village, Lavassaare harbour. The mountain and service spaces are situated on 39 properties of Halinga forest owned by the Republic of Estonia (register part No 2840806, cadastral mark 73001:001:0818). The mountain allocation applied for has an area of 368.50 ha and an area of 431.11 ha. Within the limit of the mountain allocation applied for, the active consumption of low-depleted peat is 686 thousand t, of which the vable stock is 686 thousand t and the active consumption of well-decomposed peat is 1 995 thousand t, of which the vable stock is 1 881 thousand t. the fields of use of the resource are peat and energy production. The mining permit applied for is valid for 30 years.
