Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under Section 16(2)(1) of the environmental impact assessment and Management system Act (KeHJS).

Environmental Agency announces the publication of the environmental impact assessment (EIA) programme of the S.S. Grupp OÜ voore pig farm.

By letter No DM-101676-2 of 21.03.2019, the Environment Agency initiated an environmental impact assessment of the application for integrated environmental permit for the Voore farm of Sarmeks Grupp OÜ.
According to the application for the integrated permit, Sarmeks Grupp OÜ S.S. wishes to rearing pigs for fattening (with a body weight exceeding 30 kg) with a installed production capacity of up to 3480 animals for fattening pigs. Voore seafarm is located in Jõgeva County, in the municipality of Mustvee, in the village of Voore on the land of the weighing Kaalukoja (land registration No 2314435, cadastral mark 71301:002:1510) and the cattle farm substation (land registration No 957435, cadastral mark 71301:002:1140).

The EIA programme is available in advance at  public exhibition from 16.10.2020 to 30.10.2020 on the website of the Environment Agency: https://www.keskkonnaamet.ee/et/eesmargid activities/environmental ordn/environmental impact assessments/public domain.

Proposals, objections and questions about the EIA programme can be submitted at in writing, until 30.10.2020, during the working hours of the decision-makers in the contacts referred to above.

The public consultation of the EIA programme takes place at 04.11.2020 at 18.00 in the Voore holiday Centre (Koolimäe, Voore village, Municipality of Mustvee)..
