Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under Section 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).
Keskkonnaamet declares that OÜ AAV Teenused (registry code: 10666645) (address Põlva maakond, Kanepi vald, Piigaste küla, Kahja, 63501) submitted an application for renewal of the environmental permit for the extraction of mineral resources from the Saverna II gravel quarry. OÜ AAV Teenused are exploiting the construction gravel and the construction and filling sand of the Saverna II gravel deposit (reg. card 883) on the mountain deposit (mountain provision and surface area 4,43 ha) of the Saverna gravel deposit. Mining permit L.MM/321015 issued by the Environment Agency is valid from 17.10.2011 until 17.10.2021. Blocks 1 to 6 of the active consumption stock in the Mineral Catalogue of the Environment Register relate to mining allocation. The distribution of applications in blocks 1, 3 and 4 is a percentage: a building gravel of 81%, construction sand of 15% and charging sand of 4%. The distribution of uses in blocks 2, 5 and 6 below THE groundwater level (129,97 m EH2000) is a percentage: building gravel 36%, building sand 21% and charging sand 43%. The average annual rate of mineral extraction is 20 thousand m ³. The fields of exploitation include road and general construction, the reclamation of excavated land into a body of water and wooded land. It is proposed to extend the environmental permit to 30.06.2035.
The the decision to initiate the procedure environmental permit and other relevant documents are available on at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency.
The application shall be digitally available on SACRED https://kotkas.envir.ee in the environmental decision information system
Until the the granting or refusal of an environmental permit decision is made, any person has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the on the application. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to a postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.
The draft of Decision amending the environmental permit will be announced by the Environmental Agency in the Official Announcements.
