Keskkonnaamet announces, that ARVO HAUSENBERGI MÄE-MATSI TALU (registry code: 10163980) (address Mäe-Matsi, Puugi küla, Kanepi vald, Põlva maakond 63412)Application for authorisation to prospect for the Kangru exploration room submitted on 29.10.2020 (registered in the environmental Decisions INFORMATION system under procedure DM-112140).

Authorisation to prospect is sought in the municipality of Põlva, in the municipality of cannabis, for privately owned properties in the village of Pikareinu, by Assumäe (cadastral mark 85602:002:0182) and Simuna (cadastral mark 85602:002:0575). The area covered by the survey room is 8,54 ha. The requested Cangru exploration site is located approximately 500 m south-east from Kangru's sandy deposit (Mineral registry card No 0753) and Kangru's sandstone quarry (Mineral extraction permit No L.MK.PÕ-186741). The purpose of the study is to conduct a consumption inventory survey to determine the distribution of mineral resources (sand, gravel), the thickness of the useful layer, the quality and the conditions of extraction. The studies plan to set up up up to 15 exploration voids and up to 15 drilling holes with a depth of up to 15 m; other planned dedicated works: water level measurement, determination of the steel composition of the material; determination of the category of resistance to crushing of gravel (LosAngelese test); topographic measurement. The investigator is KOBRAS AS (registry code 10171636, address Riga tn 35, Tartu City, Tartu City, Tartu County). The period of validity applied for is 2 years.
