Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under Section 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).
Keskkonnaamet declares that EMG Karjäärid OÜ (registry code: 14273374) (address Vana-Narva mnt 11b, Kiiu alevik, Kuusalu vald, Harju maakond) the application for an environmental permit to exploit the mineral reserves of the Sandna sandy pasture has been accepted.
The company applies for an environmental permit for the extraction of mineral resources on the mountain deposit of the sandy quarry in Sandy. The sand quarry is located in the Rõuge district of Võru, in cadastral parcels 69701:003:0620 Rõuge Forest area 19 and 69701:003: 0150 Sänna quarry.
The mountain area of the sandy pastures is 16,82 ha and that of the service area of the mountain pastures is 20,75 ha. The quantity of active consumable sand from the mountain sand quarry is 442 thousand m3 and the excavated reserves are 380 thousand m3. An active consumption stock of 552 thousand m3 of the technological sand in the upland pastures and a reservoir of 716 thousand m3. The fields of use of the mineral resource include general construction and road construction. The use of land which has been reclaimed as a result of mining is for an artificial body of water and wooded land.
The requested environmental permit is valid for 15 years.
