Notice of competition for authorised veterinarian

Põllumajandus- ja Toiduamet publishes this announcement under Section 10(2) of the Veterinary Organisation Act.
 
Agriculture and Food Authority announces a competition for the area of operation of the authorised veterinarian.
 
A candidate in a competition must comply with the requirements laid down in paragraph 11 of the Veterinary Activities Organisation Act, that is to say, hold a valid authorisation to practise as a veterinary practitioner, and:
  • have suitable qualifications and experience;
  • act impartially and are free from any conflict of interest in the performance of the official control tasks delegated to them. 
possess the skills, equipment and infrastructure required to carry out the tasks of official control delegated to them;  
Area of operation of authorised veterinarians and scope of authorisation:
Part of Tartu County - Tartu city and the municipalities of Elva, Kambja and Nõo.
“Scope of authorisation” means surveillance and diagnostic tests based on implementing measures for animal disease control programmes and vaccination against rabies.

An application for authorisation, details of a valid professional license and a description of the professional practice must be submitted no later than 05.03.2021 at the following address Small Paala 3, Tallinn 11415 or electronically ardo.pakkonen@pta.agri.ee.
