Notice of public display of and public consultation of an environmental impact assessment programme

Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under Section 16(2)(1) of the environmental impact assessment and Management system Act (KeHJS).

Environmental Agency announces the publication of the environmental impact assessment (EIA) programme of the The Environment Agency shall notify the establishment and operation of the Hagudi security production area..

The EEA initiated the EIA in question by letter No 12 2/20/135-4 of 01.06.2020.
Hagudi's peat production site is located at the Hagudi peat station ALU in Rapla County
In the village of the forest village, in the cadastral parcels Vahasus district 88 (cadastral identification 66904:001:0050), and
VA hastu district 206 (cadastral mark 66904:001:0319); in Hagudi village, the cadastral estate Vahasus
forest 207 (cadastral identification 66903:003:0352) and Mediterranean in the village of Cadastral parcels
the capercaillie 269 (cadastral mark 6 6901:001:0186) and the barrier road (cadastral mark 6 6901:0186)
66801:001:0026). The area covered by the mountain allocation for the Hagudi peat production area applied for is 275,32 ha, and
the area served by the mountain allocation is 291,73 ha. The minerals being extracted are, according to the application:
low-performing peat (active it holds 1063 ash t and 1018 ash t); and
well-degraded peat (394 ash/t active consumption and 362 ash/t extracted stock) and mineral resources
the proposed area of use is horticulture and energy. Maximum annual extraction rate
in the case of an application, OJ 9 tug. in the case of an application, the mining permit is requested for a period of 30 years.

The public consultation of the EIA programme takes place at as regards the dissemination of COVID19 and subject to national restrictions in the online media Microsoft Teams 08.04.2021 at 17.00.
