Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under sections 21 and 16(2)(1) of the environmental impact assessment and Management system Act (KeHJS).
Environmental Agency announces the publication of the environmental impact assessment (EIA) report for the Environmental permit for specific water use planned by the plant's project to improve the migratory route of fish.
KMH was launched by the decision-maker by letter 14-6/18/1538-9 of 19.06.2018.
The Municipality of Haapsalu wishes to obtain a special water-use permit to improve the migratory route for Orange fish on a section of approximately 700 m in length (from the Gulf of Paralepa to the pedestrian bridge on the street of the pond). In total, a mixture of 4 289 m ³ of mineral surface from the outlet of the plant and 4 295 m ³ of mineral and organic sludge from the Gulf of Estonia is deepened. A new steel tube of 12 m length, 1,73 m high and 2,34 m wide oval cross section shall be installed in the water line to facilitate fish passage.
