Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under § 16 (2)1) of Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Management System Act.

Keskkonnaamet announces the Huntaugu VIII permit for the extraction of sandy quarries of the publication of the environmental impact assessment (EIA) programme.

The EIA initiated the EIA by letter No 30-11-3/44033-2 of 23.10.2008. The proposed activity aims at the extraction of building sand in blocks VIII and 10 of the Huntaugu deposit of Huntaugu. The mountain allocation for the VIII sea breed is located in the 59 cadastral parcels of the district of Colga owned by the State in the village of Kuusalu in Harju County (cadastral identification 35201:003:0220).

EIA programme is available in advance on From 22 July to 31 August 2021, by entering a www.keskkonnaamet.ee on the website of the Environment Agency, the keyword “disclosing EIA” in the search window. Furthermore, the KMH programme can be consulted in the municipality of Kuusalu (Mõisa tee 17, 74604 Kiiu, Harju County) and in the municipality of Kuusalu (Keskväljak 10, Kuusalu, 74601 Harju County) during their opening hours..

Proposals, objections and questions of the EIA programme can be submitted to in writing, until and including 31 August 2021, in the context of the above-mentioned decision-maker contacts.

The public consultation of the EIA programme will take place on On 2 September 2021 at 17.00 in Kuusalu County Hall at Keskväljak 10, Kuusalu 74601 Harju County.
