Päästeamet publishes this announcement under Section 16(3) of the fire safety law (TuOS).
Päästeamet announces that Ida-Viru maakond, Jõgeva maakond, Lääne-Viru maakond, Pärnu maakond ja Tartu maakond has been designated as a flammable zone since 21.07.2021.
From that date, the following shall be prohibited in forest, other vegetation and peat soils:
(1) making an external fire, except in places specially prepared for that purpose;
(2) burning of hay and reeds;
(3) other activities which may cause fire
(paragraph 16(1) of the TuOS).
The order attached to the announcement shall enter into force on the day following the date of publication of this announcement (paragraph 16(3) of the TuOS).
