Under paragraph 19(6) of the KPS, the Secretary of State for Rural Affairs is to suspend the fishing of herring in the Baltic Sea in ICES subdivision 28.1 (Gulf of Livi) for permanent residents of Kihnu and the Isle of Manija in Pärnu. Fishing for herring by purse-snap traps in ICES subdivision 28.1 (Gulf of sand) in the Baltic Sea under a special fishing permit for permanent residents of the Island of Kihnu and Manija in Pärnu County has been suspended since 23.05.2015. Fishing by shooting traps in ICES subdivision 28.1 (Gulf of Livi) in the Baltic Sea under a special fishing permit for permanent residents of the Island of Kihnu and Manija in Pärnu County has been suspended since 23.05.2015.

Fishing has been suspended since 23.05.2015.
