The Ministry of Environment, Hiiumaa environmental Service has issued a permit to operate a hunting area on 08.04.2004 with validity of 07.04.2014. The licence was issued to THE ORDER OF HUNTERS in HIIUMAA, reg. - code 80049859, Radio small - pond 8, 92411 Kärdla. On the basis of an authorisation to use granted, Hiiumaa Jahimeeste Selts uses Hiiumaa's hunting area, which is divided into the following hunting areas under Hiiumaa's hunting management plan:
“Emmaste hunting area” shall mean the municipality of Emmaste and the municipality of Käina;
Jausa area of Jesusalem: established in the municipalities of Emmaste, Kyrgessaare, Käina and Pühalepa;
Kyrgessaare hunting area - location in the municipality of Kyrgessaare;
Glass hunting area - location in the municipalities of Kyrgessaare, Käina and Pühalepa;
Salmon hunting area: established in the municipalities of Kyrgessaare, Käina and Pühalepa;
Pühalepa hunting area - location in the municipality of Pühalepa;
“Hunting area of Suuremõisa” means the place of establishment in the municipality of Käina and the municipality of Pühalepa.
