The Maaeluministeerium publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 49(2) and (3) of the Law on fishing (KPS).
Pursuant to paragraph 49(3) of the KPS, the Minister for Rural Affairs opens fishing activities on a fishing licence for fishermen in lakes Peipsi, Lämmi and Pihkva until the end of 2016.
The Minister for Rural Affairs shall open fishing operations on Peipsi Lake at a distance of more than one kilometre from the coast with a gillnet or framework network, and on Lämmi and Pihkva Lake at a distance of more than 500 metres from the coast until the end of 2016. Fishing shall be open from 28.12.2016. more detailed information shall be provided
by an attached decree of the Minister for Rural Affairs.
