Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under Section 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

Keskkonnaamet declares that AS TREV-2 Grupp (registry code: 10047362) (address Pärnu mnt 463, Nõmme linnaosa, Tallinn, 10916 Harju maakond) the application for an environmental permit for the Tammemäe VIII sand quarry has been accepted on application.

The environmental permit is applied for in the village Tammemäe, Harju County, Freistaat Sachu, in the State-owned cadastral district Viimsi district 16 (cadastral title: 71801:001:0130), whose management of State funds is the Ministry of the Environment and the authorised authority is the State Riigimetsa Majandamise Keskus.

The requested Tammemäe VIII sandy quarry has an area of 12,08 ha and an area of 13,76 ha for the mountain square. The minerals extracted are, according to the application, building sand (an active consumption of 300 thousand m3 and a mine of 279 thousand m3) and aggregates sand (an active consumption of 515 thousand m3 and a mine of 434 thousand m3). The intended use of the mineral resource is construction and road construction. The average annual extraction rate applied for is 50 thousand m3. An environmental permit is requested for a period of 15 years.

Until the the granting or refusal of an environmental permit decision is made, any person has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the To the Environment Agency.
