Notice of initiating proceedings on an environmental permit

Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under Subsection 2 of § 47 of the General Part of the Environmental Code Act (KeÜS).
Keskkonnaamet declares that aktsiaselts Roger Puit (registry code: 10106076) (address Pärnu mnt 24b, Viljandi linn, Viljandi maakond, 71020) the application submitted by Kamali for an environmental permit for extraction of mineral resources from the IV sand quarry mining reserve (hereinafter extraction permit) has been accepted for processing (registered in the Environmental Board system EAGLE 12.01.2023 as document No DM-123302-1). The request for correction (expert opinion) was submitted on 08.05.2023 (DM-123302-4). The mining section of Kamali's IV sand quarry is located in Saarde Parish, Pärnu County in the village of Kamali on a privately owned, applicant-owned land unit of Juhani (cadastral code 71101:004:0174). The area of the mining claim is 7.23 ha and the area of the mining claim service plot is 8.71 ha. The requested area is located in the Kamali sand deposit (registry card 81) covering block 15 of filling sand. According to the application for an extraction permit, as of 01.07.2022 the quantity of active supply of the aggregate sand of the mining claim is 359 ash m ³ and the extracted stock is 285 ash m ³, the amount of cover is 91 ash m ³ incl soil 43 ash m ³. The average annual rate of extraction of mineral resources is applied for 19 thousand m ³. The uses of mineral resources include road construction and construction. The direction of restoration of the extracted land is water body land. An extraction permit shall be applied for for 15 years.

Until the issue or refusal to issue environmental permit decision is made, any person has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the To the Environmental Board.
