Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under Subsection 2 of § 47 of the General Part of the Environmental Code Act (KeÜS).

Keskkonnaamet declares that Mainer OÜ (registry code: 14267391) (address Mustamäe tee 161-4, Mustamäe linnaosa, Tallinn, Harju maakond, 12913) has submitted an application for amendment of environmental permit L.MK/333887 for extraction of mineral resources. The Environmental Board has accepted an application for amendment of the environmental permit for mining mineral resources of the sand quarry of Tõrenurme (hereinafter extraction permit) No L.MK/333887 (registered in the Environmental Board system EAGLE 21.09.2023 as document DM-125896-1). On the basis of extraction permit No L.MK/333887 (the extraction permit is valid from 06.11.2019 to 05.11.2024), Mainer OÜ is mining construction sand in the sand quarry of Tõrenurme. According to the application for amendment of extraction permit No L.MK/333887, the company wishes to extend the extraction permit by 7 years. The amendment of the extraction permit is necessary so that the company can fully exhaust the mineral resources and properly tidy the area and thus ensure that the surrounding area is supplied with high-quality building material. The sand quarry of Tõururme is located in Jõgeva County, Põltsamaa Parish, in the village of Tõrenurme on private land on the cadastral unit kangru (register part No 60235, cadastral code 61606:002:0130, earmarked profit-making land 100%) in the sand deposit of Tõrenurme (registry card No 0966). The main mineral resource of the deposit is construction sand. The uses of mineral resources include construction and road construction. The area of the hill allotment for the sandy quarry of the propellant is 0.79 ha and the area of the service plot of the propellant is 1.44 ha. The average annual rate of extraction is applied for 5 ash m3 and the direction of restoration of the extracted land is grassland and water body.

Until the issue or refusal to issue environmental permit decision is made, any person has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the To the Environmental Board.
