Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under Subsection 2 of § 47 of the General Part of the Environmental Code Act (KeÜS).
Keskkonnaamet declares that OÜ Balti Spoon (registry code: 10333719) (address Balti Spoon, Kupu küla, Kuusalu vald, Harju maakond, 74610) the application for amendment of environmental permit No L.ÕV/300189 submitted by the party on 11.12.2023 has been accepted. The company is applying for an amendment to the environmental permit in connection with the updating of activities and data. In addition, the activities of the current environmental permit No L.VV/326507 are added to the environmental permit No L.ÕV/300189 and the environmental permit L.VV/326507 is repealed upon granting the joint environmental permit. The company's facility is located at Balti spoon, Kupu village, Kuusalu Parish, Harju County (cadastral code 35203:004:0130). The main activity of the company is the production of veneer and plywood (EMTAK 16211) and the additional activities are the production of lumber (EMTAK 16101), the production of other wood processing products, incl. mincing wood, wool, etc. (EMTAK 16109) and the supply of steam and air conditioned (EMTAK 35301). The total rated thermal input of combustion plants used in the establishment shall be 23.25 MWth. Up to 600 ash. Nm ³ natural gas and/or 55,000 tonnes of wood chips are used as fuel per year. Each year, the report uses about 220,000 m3 of groundwater in its production.

The draft of Decision to grant or refuse to grant environmental permit will be announced by the Environmental Board in the Official Announcements.
