Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under Subsection 2 of § 47 of the General Part of the Environmental Code Act (KeÜS).

Keskkonnaamet declares that AKTSIASELTS VOKA MASIN (registry code: 10196375) (address Tööstuspargi tn 12, Voka alevik, Toila vald, Ida-Viru maakond, 41701; edaspidi ka ettevõte) an application submitted on 09.01.2024 for amendment of environmental permit for the release of pollutants into ambient air from a stationary emission source (hereinafter air pollution permit) No L.ÕV/327890 has been accepted for processing. The company is applying for an amendment to Air pollution permit No L.ÕV/327890 in relation to the alignment of the permit with the current legislation and changes in the use of emission sources and finishing chemicals.

The company's installation is located in the municipality of Voka in Toila Parish, Ida-Viru County on the properties of industrial park tn 3 (cadastral code 80201:002:0019) and Tööstuspargi tn 12 (cadastral code 80201:002:0275).

The main activity of the company is the manufacture of trailers, semi-trailers and containers (EMTAK code 29202). The installation is active in the manufacture of metal structures, tractor trailer frames, waste and MULTILIFT containers and the main stages of production are plastic cutting of metal sheets, welding of parts, cleaning of surfaces in the shotgun chamber and coating of metal surfaces (painting). The production takes place in two buildings and the installation has 6 heaters of the type Bullerjan, which operate on firewood and have a total rated thermal input of 0.755 MWth.

Compared to the current authorisation, emissions of particulate matter have been reduced, new air purification equipment has been introduced, as have emissions of volatile organic compounds emitted from the use of finishing chemicals, while chemicals containing xylene have been removed from use.

The purpose of the properties is 100% production land and the production territories of the installation are surrounded by production and commercial land, land of public buildings and transport land. The nearest residential buildings remain between 50 and 90 metres east and northeast from the installation's emission sources.

The modification request environmental permit and other relevant documents are available on on notice at the offices of the Environmental Board across Estonia. Application materials can be found in the Environmental Decisions information System at EAGLE (https://kotkas.envir.ee/) procedure No M-126801.

Until the amendment of environmental permit decision is made, any person has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the To the Environmental Board. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to a postal address Green 64, 80010 Pärnu. 

The draft of Decision to amend environmental permit will be announced by the Environmental Board in the Official Announcements.
