Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under Subsection 2 of § 30 of the Earth's Crust Act (MaaPS).

Keskkonnaamet announces, that AS Tariston (registry code: 10887843) (address: (Toompuiestee 35, Põhja-Tallinna linnaosa, Tallinn, Harju maakond, 10149) , application for authorisation on the basis of an application submitted by the Environmental Board, a draft decision on the issue of an order of the Environmental Board “granting of a permit for geological exploration in a prisoner's V exploration area” and a draft exploration permit have been prepared. A geological exploration permit is applied for in order to conduct a geological exploration on the state-owned property Lodja metskond 1 in the cross village of Saarde Parish, Pärnu County (variable 71201:001:0450). The administrator of the state assets of a cadastral unit owned by the state is the Ministry of Climate Affairs and the authorised authority the State Forest Management Centre. The area of service of the requested study room is 14.64 ha.
Geological exploration shall identify the geological construction of the exploration area, the quality of the effluent spreading there, the thickness of the useful layer, its spread and volume and the conditions of extraction. This is a stockpile survey with up to 35 excavation wells and up to 35 excavation wells planned. The exploration depth is up to 7 m. the mineral resources under investigation are aggregate sand and construction sand. Hydrogeological testing involves measuring water levels at study wells, other dedicated work: laboratory work; topographic surveying of the study room service area. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 3 years. Geological Survey is performed by OÜ Inseneribüroo STEIGER (registry code 11206437, address: Männiku tee 104, Nõmme district, Tallinn, Harju County). Additional conditions for the exploration permit shall be determined: 1. the person conducting the survey shall notify the forest commander of Pärnumaa RMK by e-mail of the performance of field works at least 10 calendar days in advance;
2. If cutting is required within the framework of a geological survey, the manager of state forests shall be notified thereof, who enters into a contract of employment for the deforestation of growing forest with the maker of the geological survey or a contract for the transfer of the right of cutting of growing forest for the acquisition of the right of cutting.
