Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under Section 58(3) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

Keskkonnaamet announces that  Fertil OÜ (registry code: 10343824) (address Tehase tee 5, Lagedi alevik, Rae vald, Harju maakond, 75303) on the basis of an application for an environmental permit submitted, environmental permit No. KL-522914 has been issued to an enterprise for an unspecified term. An environmental permit grants the right to eject pollutants into the ambient air from stationary sources of Tehase tee 5, Lagedi borough, Rae Rural Municipality, Harju County (cadastral unit 65301:003:0062).

An environmental permit is required for an enterprise in the manufacture of glass plastic products and in the use of solvents due to emissions of volatile organic compounds released into the ambient air. Fertil OÜ's main activity is the manufacture of other plastic construction products (EMTAK code 22239). The installation contains 4 emission sources: ventilation openings (V1 and V2) of the assembly shop and the scrolling shop and stacks of two blowers (K1 and K2). The company uses up to 19.9 tonnes of chemicals per year, from which up to 1.43 tonnes of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are emitted. Fertil OÜ products are made from glass plastic, which is formed by binding fibreglass to polyester or vinyl ester resins. The production uses scrolling technology that ensures the strength of the products. For the production of heat, two blowers with a total rated thermal input of 0,16 MWth have been installed in the installation. It takes up to 17 tonnes of diesel per year as fuel.
