Notice of initiating prceedings for a geological exploration permit

Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under Subsection 2 of § 30 of the Earth's Crust Act (MaaPS).
Keskkonnaamet announces, that OÜ MERKO KAEVANDUSED (registry code: 14872152) (address Järvevana tee 9g, Kesklinna linnaosa, Tallinn, Harju maakond, 11314)an application for a geological exploration permit for the Piirsalu exploration area submitted by the party has been accepted for processing. A permit for geological exploration is applied for geological exploration of gravel and sand in the Piirsalu exploration room in order to explain the distribution of mineral resources, the thickness of the useful layer, the quality of the material and the mining conditions that would enable the quantity of mineral resources to be assessed as an active supply.
Piirsalu Research room is located in the village of Piirsalu in Lääne-Nigula Parish, Lääne County, partially encompassing the property Piirsalu metskond 1 (cadastral code 68001:003:0279, earmarked profit-making land 100%). The Forest area 1 of the registered immovable Piirsalu is in state ownership, the administrator of the state assets of which is the Ministry of Climate Affairs, and the authorised authority is the State Forest Management Centre.
The service area of the requested exploration area is fully located in the restricted zone of the shooting range of Piirsalu campus and Piirsalu (variable 3714830 and 3714793).
The area of service of the requested study room is 11.98 ha. This is a stockpile survey. In the course of a geological exploration, it is planned to build up to 20 exploration wells and up to 20 exploration wells with exploration depth of up to 15 m. the mineral resources to be investigated are sand and gravel. Hydrogeological testing: water level measurement. The performer of the survey is the OÜ MERKO MINES (registry code 14872152, address Järvevana tee 9 g, city centre district, Tallinn, Harju County, Estonia). The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 3 years.

Until the #tk_menetluse_liik# decision is taken, everyone hase the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the To the Environmental Board.
