Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under Subsection 2 of § 47 of the General Part of the Environmental Code Act (KeÜS).

Keskkonnaamet declares that OSAÜHING BIRGER (registry code: 10579797) (address Juurvilja alajaam, Maetsma küla, Mustvee vald, Jõgeva maakond, 42112) a valid application for amendment of an environmental permit submitted on 11.04.2025, registered in the EAGLE 11.04.2025 document number DM-1355-6 in the Environmental Decisions information System, has been accepted for processing. An environmental permit is applied for to a production unit located on a land unit of Nexus, Maetsma küla village, Mustvee Rural Municipality, Jõgeva County (cadastral characteristics 16401:003:0292, 16401:003:0243; intended purpose: 100% of production land). The main activity of the applicant is the manufacture of trailers, semi-trailers and containers (EMTAK code 29202).
According to the production activity, the company has 23 emission sources: K2 wood boiler house chimney, K1 boiler house chimney, V1 plastic cutter ventilation, V2 welding shop Birger, V3 welding shop Birger, V4 diesel tank, V5 lasers (flat laser bench and pipe serpentine) (birger), V6 old paint chamber (Nexuse), V7 New paint chamber (Nexuse), V8 sandblasting chamber ventilation, V9 welding shop E (Nexuse), V10 cooking shop C (Nextseus), Nexcal (Nex12), V12-2 welding Grey ventilation (Nexuse), V12-3 welding Grey ventilation (Nexuse), V12-4 welding Grey ventilation (Nexuse), V12-5 welding Grey ventilation (Nexuse), V12-6 welding Grey ventilation (Nexuse), V12-7 welding Grey ventilation (Nexuse), V12-8 welding Grey ventilation (Nexuse), V13 welding Robot ventilation (Nexuse) and V14 Diesel fuel Reservoir. The total rated thermal input of combustion plants shall be 1,528 MWth. Wood chips with an annual cost of 750 tonnes and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) with an annual cost of 30 tonnes are used as fuel. Up to 68.167 tonnes of volatile organic compounds are released from the company's activities per year.
The production area of the enterprise is bordered by western arc production land and northern, southern and eastern arc harvested land. The registered immovable with the cadastral designation 16401:003:0243 is located approximately 100 m north and northeast of the Avijõe storage area, (Ida-Viru), KLO2000087.

Until the amendment or refusal to amend environmental permit decision is made, any person has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the To the Environmental Board. The draft of Decision to amend or refuse to amend environmental permit will be announced by the Environmental Board in the Official Announcements.
