Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under Subsection 2 of § 30 of the Earth's Crust Act (MaaPS).

Keskkonnaamet announces, that Marina Minerals OÜ (registry code: 11349875) (address: (Jalgpalli tn 21, Kesklinna linnaosa, Tallinn, Harju maakond, 11312) , application for authorisation on the basis of the application submitted by the party, the draft organisation of the issue of the exploration permit and the draft exploration permit have been prepared by Päelda.

The requested research room is located in the village of Levalõpme in Muhu Parish, Saare County, and the state-owned cadastral units 47801:001:0749 axes (based on map and plan; 100% profit-making land) and 47801:004:0357 Päelda quarry (controlled, L-EST; 100% profit-making land). In the case of both cadastral units, the State Forest Management Centre (hereinafter RMK) is the administrator of state assets.

This is a stockpile survey with up to 30 study wells/excavation wells planned. The exploration depth is up to 5 m. the mineral resources under exploration are construction gravel, construction sand filling gravel and filling sand. The estimated amount of mineral resources considering mining losses is 70 ash m3. According to the application, the potential area of use of the mineral resources under investigation is road construction and building mixtures and filling ground. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 3 years. The person conducting the study is STEIGER OÜ, THE Engineering Bureau.

The following additional conditions are proposed for the authorisation:
the person conducting the survey shall notify the forest commander of RMK Saaremaa by e-mail of the performance of field works at least 10 calendar days in advance;
if cutting is required within the framework of a geological survey, the manager of state forests shall be notified thereof, who enters into a contract of employment for the deforestation of growing forest with the maker of the geological survey or a contract for the transfer of the right of cutting of growing forest for the acquisition of the right of cutting.
